| Upcoming Workshop:
My EBSCOhost
When: Monday, Apr. 14, 12-1:00 PM
Where: Cheney, Dining Room B
Presenter: Gary Atwood, Reference Librarian
Description: Wouldn't it be nice to be able to save citations you find in Academic Search Premier (or any EBSCO database)? What if you could save your searches, too? And set up alerts to tell you when new articles on your topic appear, or what's in the latest issue of your favorite journal?
As a matter of fact, you can do all of these things using My EBSCOhost, a free service that works with all EBSCO databases. This workshop will show you how to set up your My EBSCOhost account, as well as how to save citations, create and arrange folders, save and re-run searches, and set up different alerts.
My EBSCOhost works with key databases such as CINAHL, MEDLINE, PsycINFO, SocINDEX, Sports Discus, and ERIC. It also works wherever you are. Just log into your account before you start searching in order to save your work.
Lunch is included, just sign in at the main dining hall entrance
Please RSVP to attend this workshop, and to suggest topics for future presentations. |
