What is educational technology?
A field of education centered on the design, development, utilization, management, and evaluation of technology for learning.
At Springfield College, Educational Technology is a branch of Babson Library and works in collaboration with ITS and Media Services and the campus at large.

Who are educational technologists?
Educational Technologist come from many different fields of expertise, and are trained in the science of improving human learning and performance.
At Springfield College, Dr. Karin Camihort is the Educational Technologist. Dr. Camihort has a solid background in the field and holds a doctoral degree in Educational Technology from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Prior to her position at Springfield College, Dr. Camihort worked in the Information Systems Office at the Five Colleges, Incorporated - Amherst (1997-2005).
