Davis Center for Information Literacy
The Davis Center for Information Literacy is located on the 2nd floor of the Babson Library. The Center was established to provide an innovative environment where faculty and librarians can work individually or as a team to teach students information literacy skills, thereby encouraging integration of information literacy into the Springfield College curriculum. The facility was designed with flexibility in mind, incorporating lightweight furniture and wireless laptops, allowing for multiple room configurations depending on the needs of the class.
Equipment
The room is equipped with 16 laptops in a wireless network environment. Full Internet access and standard application software are provided. The Center is also equipped with a data projector and a combo VCR-DVD.
